Membership FAQs

Is a bi-weekly meeting schedule effective?

Since our inception in 2007, theNYnetwork has successfully used a bi-weekly meeting format. Our long history confirms that this approach works well for our members.

Do I need to pay for the annual membership upfront?

Yes, membership requires an annual payment in advance. However, you can attend up to two meetings as a guest and up to five meetings as a substitute before committing.

What if I’m already part of another networking group?

You’re welcome to join theNYnetwork while maintaining your other memberships. We believe that a larger network enhances the value you bring to our organization, offering you the best of both worlds—referrals and benefits from our bi-weekly meetings alongside your existing group.

Am I required to recruit new members?

Unlike traditional networks, theNYnetwork does not require you to recruit. We handle the group’s growth. While you’re encouraged to invite individuals who might be a good fit, there’s no obligation to do so. Many of our members invite friends because they value the group, not because it’s a requirement.

Do I need to attend every meeting?

Attendance at every meeting is not mandatory, but we encourage regular participation to maximize your benefits from the network.

Am I required to give referrals at meetings?

There’s no obligation to provide referrals, nor do we track the number you give or receive. We prefer to keep the experience stress-free, focusing on the results and success shared by our members.
