Meet Our Founder!
Kimberly, the visionary behind our group, hails from New York City. Her entrepreneurial spirit ignited early as she set up shop outside the local Waldbaum’s, selling lemonade, pet rocks, pom-pom animals, and beaded hair barrettes.
In 1989, Kimberly founded her own company. With no knowledge of networking at the time, she leaned on personal connections and traditional advertising methods. By 2006, an article in The New York Times highlighted a weekly networking group, and Kimberly was one of the few women accepted into this exclusive circle. Recognizing a gap in the networking landscape, she invited fellow businesswomen to her office to discuss the idea of creating an “all-women” networking group. Thus, theNYnetwork was established in 2007.
The mission of theNYnetwork is to offer a supportive environment where like-minded women can share successes and challenges, seek and offer advice, learn, and grow together. Our community is designed to nurture and elevate businesses in a collaborative and encouraging setting.
